Beach Towel Artwork Specification Template
Artwork, print and order specification template for custom beach and pool towels from Pakistan
This template covers every field needed for a complete custom beach or pool towel specification. Fill in all mandatory fields (marked •) and attach your artwork files before submitting your RFQ. Incomplete artwork briefs are the most common cause of sampling delays on beach towel programmes.

4. Chlorine Fastness Requirement
Pool towel additional requirements
- Colour fastness to chlorinated water — ISO 105-E03 (mandatory for pool programmes)
- Specify free chlorine concentration of destination pool: typically 1–3 ppm
- Minimum acceptable grade: Grade 3 (pool towels) / Grade 4 (retail retail durability claim)
- Jacquard woven only: inherent chlorine fastness — no test surcharge required

6. Certification Requirements

- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (mandatory for EU/UK/USA retail — covers reactive dye RSL compliance)
- GOTS — only if organic cotton base fabric required
- BSCI — required for EU retail social audit compliance
- Sedex SMETA — required for UK retail (M&S, John Lewis grade)
- WRAP — required for some USA retail programmes
- ISO 9001 — required for UAE, Saudi, Qatar hotel and government supply tenders
- GRS — only if recycled polyester content is present
- EU Azo Dye Compliance (EC 2002/61) — mandatory for EU market; covered by OEKO-TEX Standard 100

8. Approval Sequence Checklist
Required approvals before bulk production (sign off in writing at each stage)
- Strike-off approval (printed sample on actual towel fabric) — 7–10 days
- Lab dip approval (ground / background colour on yarn) — 5–7 days
- Pre-production (PP) sample approval (complete towel with hem, label, print) — 7–10 days after lab dip and strike-off
- Chlorine fastness test result (pool programmes) — confirm acceptance before bulk
- OEKO-TEX test result — must be received before shipment release
