Complete specification template for terry bath towels — hotel, retail and institutional programs
This template covers every field a Pakistani terry towel mill needs to quote accurately and produce to specification. Fill in all mandatory fields (marked •) before submitting an RFQ. Incomplete specifications are quoted on the cheapest interpretation.

6. Quality & Testing Requirements
Standard tests to specify
- GSM (ISO 3801) — mandatory, ±5% tolerance
- Colour fastness to washing (ISO 105-C06) — Grade 4 minimum for retail
- Colour fastness to rubbing / crocking (ISO 105-X12) — Grade 3-4
- Colour fastness to light (ISO 105-B02) — Grade 4 minimum for hospitality
- Dimensional change after washing (ISO 6330) — ±5% tolerance
- Tensile strength (ISO 13934-1)
- Water absorbency (EN ISO 9073-6 or ASTM D4772)
- pH of aqueous extract (ISO 3071) — 4.5–7.5 for skin-contact textiles
- OEKO-TEX or GOTS test report (if certification required)
