Step 5 — GOTS for Organic Kids Collections
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) combined with OEKO-TEX Class 1 is increasingly required by premium EU and UK children's retailers for organic cotton baby collections. GOTS covers both organic fibre sourcing (minimum 70% certified organic cotton) and social compliance through the full supply chain. Chain-of-custody transaction certificates are required for each order. Specify certification class and organic claims upfront in the sourcing quote form.
