Step 2 — Specify Size by Market
The dominant USA shop towel size is 13.5×13.5 in (34×34 cm) or 14×14 in (35×35 cm). UK and EU distribution uses 35×35 cm or 40×40 cm metric sizing. For programmes supplying mixed-market distribution: specify 14×14 in (35×36 cm) — this covers both USA and EU metric standards at a single SKU.
Step 3 — Custom Print Programme
Custom print shop towels are produced in two formats: (1) all-over geometric pattern in a single colour (the classic USA shop rag in red, blue or green on white base), screen-printed with reactive or pigment ink; and (2) logo-printed white shop towel for automotive dealership or tool brand programmes. For logo print: supply vector artwork (.AI or .EPS format), specify ink colour in Pantone reference, and request a print strike-off for approval before production. Specify wash-fast ink for any towels going through industrial laundry programmes — standard pigment ink fades significantly after 20–30 wash cycles.
